I am looking for a metal detector to go along the beach and look for lost items. (Rings, coins, jewelry, etc) On the off chance I am not at the beach I would like to look for gold in the gold countries of california, Arizona and Nevada. I was wondering if anyone had a model or recommendations. I want a nice middle of the road detector. Because I know the high end ones can be in the thousand area.
